L@s Quixotes Radical Lending Library/infoshop is having a benefit group reading of the play Revolutionary Purity Showdown at

Everyone is invited to participate in the group reading of the play, and to share in the fun by listening and enjoying the show!

“There’s no point in having a line if you don’t have the best line, and there’s no point in being right on, if you aren’t right on top.”

Everyone is welcome to participate in the reading.  You don’t need to be a L@s Quixotes collective member and you don’t need to be what you consider to be a good reader/actress/actor.  All you need is to be into it!

If you want to join in the reading, come to our REHEARSAL ON JANUARY 8 (see below)

There will be a rehearsal on Sunday, January 8 at 3 p.m. at the new Quixotes space.  At the rehearsal, copies of the play will be available for committed readers to take home for practice.

L@s Quixotes library/infoshop/biblioteca functions as a meeting place for readers and writers, exploring and drawing inspiration from hidden histories and visions of freedom, interested in where we come from and where we might go.  It functions as a center for anti-authoritarian ideas and discussion, cultural expression and sharing.

With the closing of Autonomia Social Center, and until a new public social
space is found, our collection and resources are being generously hosted by
a private collective house in Seattle.

We are open two afternoons each week, when interested people
can visit, browse, return and check out materials.

You will find a Quixotes volunteer or two at our new space on Saturdays and
Sundays from 3 to 6 p.m.

Stop by to borrow books, zines and CDs of particular interest to
anarchists/anti-authoritarians, and to discuss the things you are reading
and the things you want to read…  or just to sit quietly and read…

And if you can spare some books, papers, zines or CDs of interest to
anarchists/anti-authoritarians, please bring them to donate to our
collection, to share with others.

HOW TO BECOME A VOLUNTEER AT L@S QUIXOTES RADICAL LENDING LIBRARY/INFOSHOP

If you want to volunteer at L@s Quixotes Radical Lending Library/Infoshop
you need to start by attending a collective meeting.

Right now, we are scheduled to have meetings the first Wednesday evening of
each month from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

If you would like to volunteer to do a shift at Quixotes, after you attend
your first meeting, let the shift volunteer coordinator know, and an
orientation can be scheduled, so you can get oriented to our procedures and
the current setup.

After you go through the orientation and get familiar with things, let
the shift volunteer coordinator know and that person will be able to suggest
a shift for you to fill on a regular basis, depending on what is open at
that point and your time availability.

To become part of our working collective, you need to attend at least one
meeting and take on a shift or another task.

The third annual Seattle anarchist book fair is on Saturday, August 20,
2011, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, August 21, 2011, 12 noon to 5 p.m.
