Join us for an Anarchist Inspired Poetry Reading hosted by L@s Quixotes Radical Lending Library and Infoshop

Join us in sharing, reciting, reading and listening to anarchist inspired poetry created by many rebels, including ourselves.

When: September 14, 7 p.m.

Where: Pipsqueak Gallery, 173 16th Ave, Seattle WA

Donations of vegetarian and vegan snacks to share will be appreciated.

Poetry can be both the playful and serious inspiration for anarchist revolutionary imagination, animated by the struggle for freedom and a more egalitarian and more truly social world.

Through poetry, song, dance and storytelling, we can create new community bonds.

Our poetic imaginations can inspire us to begin to stop accepting the world as we find it, to re-define what it means to be free people, inciting and creating the social world we desire.

In The Revolution of Everyday Life, Raoul Vaneigem writes, “Poetry is an act which engenders new realities: it is the fulfillment of radical theory, the revolutionary act par excellence.”
